Overnight care

The after-school care (ÜMI) offers parents reliable care for their child from 8:15 am to 1:30 pm. If classes are canceled in the morning, they are looked after in other classes and then go to the ÜMI rooms. Currently, 100 children attend the ÜMI and are looked after by several educational staff.

The children are divided into three groups according to age. Several child-friendly rooms are available for this purpose. Depending on the season and weather, the focus of the activities is either indoors or outdoors.

The children are provided with various activities every day, including craft and play materials.

In addition, the school playground with its play equipment and many children's vehicles offers them the opportunity to let off steam.

It is very important to us that every child feels comfortable in the ÜMI and is therefore free to decide what they want to do during the ÜMI time.

Snacks in the form of fruit or vegetables and mineral water are offered during childcare hours. Once a week there is a small sweet treat to delight the children.

Registration

Parents will be notified of the enrollment requirements for the ÜMI via SchoolFox at the beginning of the second half of the school year. For new pupils, the needs assessment for the ÜMI takes place together with the school registration.

If you would like to register your child for childcare (ÜMI) at the Eilermark School during the school year, you can pick up the registration forms from the Eilermark School office. There is currently a waiting list for a place in both OGS and ÜMI.

The ÜMI team is looking forward to a good time together with the children and their parents.
