The Eilermark School support group introduces itself
Who are we?
On May 12, 1997, the Eilermark School Sponsors' Association was founded jointly by parents and teachers and has consisted of around 100 members ever since. The Förderkreis is a registered association with tax recognition at the Ahaus tax office.
What are we doing?
With the contributions of the members and the donations that the Förderkreis receives from the city of Gronau and various organizations, activities are promoted and purchases are made that serve to improve the learning and living conditions of our children within the school. Many things are not included in the school's regular budget and can therefore only be realized through the Förderkreis.
In previous years, exciting and helpful purchases were made, such as game boxes, cameras and a stage piano for music lessons. In addition, materials such as BeeBots (small educational robots for getting started with programming) and Lego Education have also been purchased. But the Förderkreis does not only support a wide range of purchases. The theater series "My body belongs to me" (usually in the 3rd or 4th grade) as well as project days or excursions are made possible by funding from the Förderkreis. The beautiful red lettering on the façade could also be realized thanks to the Förderkreis.
Swimming lessons benefit from particularly important and regular support. The Förderkreis finances the constant participation of experienced swimming assistants who help the pupils and teachers in the water. Without these swimming assistants, it would not be possible to offer swimming lessons. Many schools have therefore had to discontinue swimming lessons, but thanks to a great team of swimming assistants and the constant funding of these by the Förderkreis, we can ensure that swimming lessons continue to be offered at the Eilermark School and that all levels of ability can be catered for.
How do we work?
The Förderkreis is represented by the board, which is elected annually. Applications for purchases, ideas and suggestions for improvement can be submitted to the board at any time by parents, teachers and pupils. All members are given a public account of income and expenditure. The Annual General Meeting usually takes place in the fall of each year.

The membership fee is 13 euros per year, which can of course be increased independently. This amount is debited on October 1 of each calendar year.
Every little contribution counts! We welcome passive members as well as committed new members who want to play an active role in shaping school life. We appreciate every helping hand at events such as school festivals! Please feel free to contact us.
Membership can be terminated at any time without giving reasons or observing a notice period.
