Last Wednesday, our school hosted the awards ceremony for the children in years three and four. The classes gathered together to experience this special moment.
The Kangaroo Competition is an international mathematics competition in which around 6 million pupils in over 100 countries worldwide take part. The aim of the competition is to strengthen mathematical education in schools, to awaken and consolidate the joy of working with mathematics and to promote independent work and learning in the classroom through exciting tasks.
The students proudly accepted their certificates and prizes. The joy at their achievements was clearly evident and was celebrated by all those present. In the fourth year, Lamita received a special prize for the most correct tasks in a row - a T-shirt for the longest "Kängeru jump".
We would like to congratulate all participants on their great results and are already looking forward to the next Kangaroo competition!
