Waste collection campaign

On April 11 and 12, 2024, the 4th grade took part in a remarkable waste collection campaign together with the class teachers. The garbage collection campaign was carried out under the motto "Gronau cleans itself up".

The campaign was not only an opportunity to remove waste from the immediate vicinity of the school, but also to educate the pupils about the problem of environmental pollution.

The pupils collected a variety of waste, including bottles, packaging, cigarette butts and paper.

The garbage collection campaign also helped to raise the pupils' environmental awareness and motivate them to play an active role in protecting the environment. Many of the children expressed their astonishment at how much garbage they were able to collect in a short space of time.
