Jazz concert

On Tuesday, 28.04.2026, Year 4 enjoyed a very special excursion: together with around 400 other primary school pupils, they visited the jazz festival in Gronau. The city of Gronau supports this event as part of the "Culture and Education in Gronau" program, giving even young children access to musical experiences.

The focus was on the opening concert especially for children. This was the very first time the band had performed with this line-up - a small premiere that made the performance something very special. Singer Alma Naidu led the children through the concert with charm and enthusiasm, teaching them important musical basics in a playful way.

The children got to know different instruments and learned what a solo means in music. It was particularly exciting that they were actively involved in the concert: They sang along, clapped and listened attentively. The enthusiasm was palpable throughout the hall.

Another highlight was the Q&A session: two children were allowed to ask the artists questions they had collected in advance on behalf of everyone. This gave the pupils interesting insights into life on and behind the stage.

The concert ended after about an hour - but not without a crowning finale: the artists Alma and Jakob came into the audience singing and playing and were bid farewell with great applause and enthusiastic cheers.

An unforgettable morning that will certainly be remembered for a long time to come!
