Under bright sunshine, the second-graders’ flea market took place at our elementary school. All the second-graders were allowed to bring in toys in good condition that they wanted to sell. They set up their booths in the schoolyard using picnic blankets and proudly showed off their toys to visitors.
Afterward, the children from the other classes were able to browse and shop to their hearts' content. There were many interesting toys to discover, and so numerous books, games, stuffed animals, and other treasures found new owners.
The flea market was a huge success and brought a lot of joy to all the children. With perfect weather, everyone was buying, selling, bargaining, and laughing—a wonderful day for the entire school community.
