Individual support at the Eilermark School


At Eilermarkschule Gronau, we attach great importance to the individual support of each pupil. We are convinced that a successful education can only be achieved by taking into account the different needs and learning requirements of all children. We therefore offer a varied, differentiated support concept that is tailored to the individual strengths and areas of development of each pupil.

Our team consists of two special needs teachers and two socio-educational specialists who work closely together to create the best possible learning and development conditions. The special needs teachers are able to respond to special learning needs and provide pupils with targeted support. The socio-educational specialists not only accompany the children in their learning process, but also offer emotional and social support.

At the Eilermark School, we provide support through internal and external differentiation. This means that lessons are adapted to the respective performance level and learning needs of the pupils both within the classes and in cooperation with other groups. Through multi-professional teams, we create a varied and individual learning environment in which pupils receive the best possible support.

Another important component of our support is team teaching, in which teachers work together with special needs teachers or socio-educational specialists in the classroom. In this way, we can respond directly to the needs of the pupils and offer individual support.

In addition to regular lessons, we also offer targeted small group support, in which pupils receive intensive and individual support. Here they can work specifically on their weaknesses and make progress at their own pace.

Our aim is to support each child according to their personal strengths and learning needs and to enable them to have a successful time at school. At Eilermark School, we see ourselves as a network of professionals working as a team to achieve the best possible results for each child.
