Last Thursday, August 22, the time had finally come: our new first graders were welcomed to Eilermark School! It was wonderful to see how proudly the new first graders came to school with their colorful school bags.
The day began with a warm welcome from our principal, who wished the children and their families much joy and success for the coming years. The second year then welcomed all the guests with a rehearsed song and the school representatives also gave a short speech.
After the ceremony, the long-awaited first lesson began. All the children eagerly went into their classroom with their class teacher and got to know each other. Of course, there was also the first little homework assignment. It was a day full of laughter, excitement, joy and new friendships.
We are delighted to welcome our new pupils to Eilermark School and are looking forward to the adventures that lie ahead!
