On 13.02.2026, the Eilermark School was transformed into a colorful carnival paradise. There was already a cheerful atmosphere in the air in the morning, as this day was all about costumes, music and good humor.
First, all the classes celebrated in their classrooms. They laughed, played and danced. The children clearly had fun with the various games, and the imaginative and creative costumes could be admired at a small fashion show. Whether superheroes, animals, princesses or funny characters - the variety was impressive. Of course, there was also a sweets buffet for everyone to enjoy.
A special highlight followed at half past nine: the big polonaise with the whole school. The long, colorful chain of children wound its way cheerfully through the school building and finally ended in the sports hall. The next surprise was already waiting there: a disco had been prepared. The children danced, jumped and partied to rousing music. The sports hall was filled with energy, joy and lots of carnival atmosphere.
Afterwards, the children were allowed to move freely through the school and look into the classrooms of the other classes. There was something to discover everywhere - different games, music and festively decorated rooms were a source of excitement.
The grand finale was the performance of the Gronauer Dinkelfunken dance guard. The dancers wowed the audience with their impressive performance. The audience was particularly proud when some children from the Eilermark School were also part of the performance and presented their skills.
It was an all-round successful carnival day that everyone involved will remember for a long time to come - full of laughter, music and shared joy.
