Friday was Advent Day at the Eilermark School. Everyone started the day by singing Advent songs together in the schoolyard. Afterwards, the school was transformed into a small workshop full of creativity, laughter and festive cheer. All four year groups had prepared various craft activities in which the children created their own little works of art with great enthusiasm and imagination. The children were busy everywhere with scissors, glue and paper - from homemade candles to sparkling poinsettias. The focus was on fun and togetherness, creating a warm atmosphere that made the Advent day a wonderful experience. The smell of freshly baked waffles was in the air everywhere. These were lovingly prepared by dedicated helpers.
The Advent Day at the elementary school was a wonderful start to the festive season and a great opportunity for the children to look forward to Christmas together. We are grateful for this wonderful day, which not only encouraged the children's creativity, but also strengthened cohesion within the school community.
We are already looking forward to the next day of Advent and all the other festive moments that await us during the Advent season!
